To all on here that say it's ppd or hauling or something else. It is not. Hauling and ppd are separate. "Marketing Adjusment" is money to pay to run the co op. That's already on top of the marketing charge we already pay of about 12 cents per cwt.

Coops are also playing games with the location adjustment to make up some dollars there.

So I pay to haul the milk to the dairy. The dairy pays the pool price according to the milks use. The co op normally gets a premium over the pool price so it takes that premium plus 1.05 cwt to run the coop. This is ridiculous.

My co op owns several plants and plants only one plant makes an occasional profit. All other plants loose money. What's the point? Is the goal of the co-op to just make jobs? It sure seems like this.

Get your milk check out and go to the market administrators website for your region. Look at the blend price for your area. Now go down your check and look for deductions. Double check your component pay numbers. Those are set by the market administrator.
