I know you are not a fan of confinement barns. Here in the land of 40" of annual rainfall. For an interesting perspective our 300 head slat barn with 12' pit has about 550 years of concrete if I remember correctly that doesn't include slats. That only takes a day of pumping in spring and day in the fall.
