Even if milk is worth alot I don't think the ppd will ever go away. Once they found a way to take they won't give it back.


PPD is a function of the Federal Milk Marketing Order System. It's built into the milk price to make sure farmers all receive the same price regardless of how their milk is used. Cooperatives or other handlers do not set that price. It's announced by the Federal Order in the same way the Butterfat, protein, and other solids price is.
