Subject: rest of the story ntex,...............

ntex, this was a new baler one month out of warranty. Had 3,500 bales on it. Cam blew apart on it, took cam followers with it. It didn't make a single noise, just wouldn't pick hay up worth a crap, I could tell there was a problem. I was rushed to go to meetings called Deere to fix it while I was gone. I had then bring all the parts the first time. When I got back, cam was fixed, but then I had a net wrap problem. Called them back out, they never fixed it. I found the net problem was drive belt too tight.

They sent me a $3,500 bill. I met them in town told the salesman I should have traded him balers at a $1 a bale depreciation. (at the time I could have traded for a $1 a bale) They would have never known baler pickup was broke. The total bill for parts was $600, rest was for labor and diagnostic work. The tech tried to replace a lot of electrical parts in net system, all it was when I got on it was the drive belt too tight. Then they tried to bill for all the diagnostic work. Anyway we come to a deal, I paid parts and to fix cam, dealer and Deere paid to train their tech. Deere had problems with those cams in the 567 models, mine just happened one month out of warranty.
