Breckenridge, MI | Your post doesn't necessarily need to be plumb but the holes do. Take a piece of string, tie a nut or a few washers to one end, and hold the other end next to the top hole to see if they're lined up.
Once you get the gate swinging the way you want get the welder out and weld the hinge clamps to the gate. Cattle will undo the bolt they recommend you put thorough the center of the clamp in time. | |
