Subject: RE: Hanging 16ft cattle gate.. (?)

Fayette Co, Iowa
After dinking around on the first 2 gates and wasting over an hour.. Cold, windy, and getting dark early makes me even more frustrated... I have a few gates that 'drag" nothings worse on a cattle yard than trying to open or shut a gate quickly and you have to drag it threw the snow, mud, or uneven concrete.. Its not worth it. So I'm trying my hardest to do these right...Yes, the hinge clamps are straight across, I tried to adjust them... just made it worse when shutting it.. I'm thinking either dads right... Or I know not all even my creosote posts aren't "straight". which would throw the pitch off on the gate.......... I even use a level on the back side of the post to make sure my 2 holes are close. And use the leveling bulb on my drill to keep it close... Just frustrating.. Thanks for the help guys
