| Here in WC-IN we would plow up till the time that the ground was froze to hard to get the plow to go in the ground. In wet falls I spent a lot of long cold nights (SM with cabette) plowing after the ground had frozen enough to support the tractor. Would plow from about 1a.m. till the frost started going out of the ground after sunup making things to slick to get traction.
Had to love those cabettes, going into the wind you would about burnup, wind to the back & you froze :~( | |
