Martinsville, Ohio | In southern Ohio we could plow right up to planting on the old weathered soils but not on the newer glacial till or certain soil types. I think the last time I plowed was in a plowing contest near Wilmington where DHL is now but cannot remember the year, early 80's I am thinking...
In the early 60's dad ran the Super 77 with 3-14's mounted, I ran an 8N Ford with 2-14's but it wouldn't hold up so he traded for a 550 Oliver with 3-14's mounted, we thought we were big time!
