The little green donut rubber bands also work on cats. I just set them under my left arm on the steel welding table (no traction to get away) and put the band on.
Yup, done it several times......only one problem.......they never reach the fall off
stage. The cat tends to remove them.
I never watched that close just noticed they were gone after a while.
