I had a stray tom cat show up a few days ago. Usually these type of cats are wild and of no use. This one is very good mannered, and pretty. Yellow with white paws. Young enough so not marking yet.
I would like to have a good mouser cat. Not sure if a tom would be. I also won't have a cat that marks. Neutering will cost around $100. Seems high. Not so bad is cat stays around and is a mouser. Too much if cat leaves, is claimed, or has no mouse interest. Need to decide soon as cat is good size now.
Please, no cat hate speech, or any mention of matches.
There is no cat hate speech here as I am a cat lover. I don't have time to read all the other post, but that 100 bucks could be a good investment. There will most likely be less chewed up wires in equipment, less of that horrible smell in vehicles, tractors, combines, etc. It will be money well spent IMO. And assuming he's gonna be allowed in the shop, it makes for good company when you're alone.
