western iowa,by Denison | still hard to say but I started at 12ctwhen I was in trouble-went to 15cts-and not many years ago was t 20cts day yardage no mark up on fed-and provided bedding-I treated every animal to best of my ability-usually some of the stuff no one else would take-was a interesting ride-lot of times barely made the light bill-I showed the guy I was feeding for I knew how to work and ran cows and bull's for him- Todays price-25 to 30cts-until you get over the hump-maybe 40-50cts a day if you don't care if your empty or full-
if your cost day to day is over .20 a hd you need to revalulate
buildings about 7cents head day more
