| You might consider a larger pull type instead. We have a 1600 gallon pull type sprayer with 90 ft booms. I can mix up enough in one batch to do entire fields and not have to make extra trips back and forth to mix up. A tender trailer would be ok, but like you said, it takes extra time to move a trailer, and also ties up one other guy to help move. Its not for everybody but works for us.
Self propelleds get across the fields faster, but how much time is spent either driving back and forth to mix up cause you have a small tank, or moving a tender around?
Otherwise you could spend more money and try to get into a bigger SP sprayer with a 1200 gal tank, but you're probably talking 150k for a used one. | |
