no, the problem with me is i give a shi$$ about people's lives not like you whom worry if they will take your automatic weapon away that can shoot 50 rounds in a few minutes which you use every day i imagine to defend your self out in the real world. the facts you get are from the NRA talking heads whom care less about the people that get shot. anyway, maybe you will get to see the story from the other side one day, wouldn't that be fun.

Very, very few people have automatic weapons.

I cant speak for him, but if, like you say, someone I know was involved in a shooting, the last thought through my mind would be the tool used. I would be upset at the user. The tool is useless without a user.

Like I asked in my post above, which gun is more deadly? Why is no one wanting to ban the one in the top picture? I don't get it.
Its not the gun, it's the large capacity magazine that makes that style of semi auto the weapon of choice. In Tooths own words, something to the effect, not exactly word for word, "200 years of our countries independence, and we've pretty much destroyed it in the last 60". Which would pretty much take in the era of high firepower semi automatic weapons. There were a few Tommy guns in the hands of outlaws before that, but even Bonnie and Clyde and Dillinger didn't willingly kill innocent people for sport. I've asked the question a couple times what earthly purpose in civilian hands anything more than five rounds is necessary. If someone can give a good reason other than he couldn't kill his coyote in the first 275 yards, so now he thinks he can get the job done if he just had more bullets in his magazine. I'm as big an outdoorsman as they come, and my top two weapons of choice, and the ones if have killed by far the most of my deer with in the last thirty years are a bow and single shot muzzleloader. I cannot even remember the last time I needed a second shot to cleanly harvest my game. Not counting pheasants of course, but I don't use a semiauto rifle on them.

The top gun has a large capacity magazine and STILL no one has a problem with it. Even with the original magazine it held 9 shots. Change it to the bottom gun and people go nuts.

High capacity magazines are used for coyotes, hogs, and sporting. If those are allowed to be banned, where does it stop. Handguns hold more than 5. What do we do about those?

The other problem is that not a word is being spoken by the talking heads or antigunners about simply regulating magazine size. Its always ban the guns that are CAPABLE of using high capacity magazines. That pretty much wipes out any semi auto and any bolt action with a magazine. Basically any gun with one.
