i thought texas was a pro gun state,, where is all the conceal and carry guys when you need them.
This early on it's hard to tell what is fact, but I've read in more than one place that a civilian did confront the shooter with a rifle causing the shooter to drop his weapon and flee in a vehicle.
So yes, this could have been worse had it not been for a "good guy with a gun".
EDIT TO ADD: Where you been george, you haven't been dropping your "hit and run posts" like before the election.
