Had a 1994 2500 W/ V10 ,Auto ,4.11 axles. Over 140K and no tranny problems and would get up to 16 mpg cruising and around 8 pulling. Now have a 2003 V10 ,Auto ,3.73 axles and @ 90K never got even close to 10 mpg even going down hill. The 03 does seem smoother but always seems seems like it should of had 4.11 or lower gearing. Neither truck ever failed at pulling what I needed moved.
