I have a 99. Trans rebuilt 2times before 120,000. 1st rebuild wasn't done well I don't think. Shifts good and works fine since 2 do over, so hope will last a long time. V10 has all the power I will ever need. I've put new plugs and wires on, thermostat, rad., and some a/c work. Gas mpg sucks. Maybe 10 on highway with nothing in the bed. Friend used it to tow a 30 GP drill home and it didn't get 6mph. I'd say around farm about 8 or so. However, I didn't buy it for fuel mileage. Truck gets maybe 4,000 miles a year. It will tow anything I need. Would I buy another, yes. Love the pulling power. Cheap power in todays world. The truck has treated me well, other than the trans.. Hope that is over.
