SC Wisconsin
1 1/2 cc penicillin and 1/2 cc of dexamethasone, find the smallest needle you can. Tie their head up high so the eye rolls down, insert needle in thin layer of skin on top of eyeball and inject. Kind of hard to describe, but once you have seen it done it is easy. Had a heifer go from perfectly fine eyes to entirely white this spring and she snapped out of it. Had to give a second dose 2 or 3 days later but she came around. The dex will help reduce any scarring and will draw it into the center of the eye so it is now just a small dot in the center of the eye but she can see around it just fine.
