I may get burned for this but ag real estate ownership is a total disconnect from the production side. The two function on very differently economically . One functions on long term goals and the other short term. It's a strange and some times strained relationship.


Excellent observation. Some can't understand why anyone would pay today's prices to purchase land. On the other side of the coin some can't understand why anyone would pay high rental rates for land. Some will always be waiting to buy land as soon as they are sure it is a great buy. Sadly, that time will never come.
