What are you using as your crop in between lentils and peas? we tried growing peas fairly regularly on some very poor lighter texter soil we have and did really well with them for the first few rotations. Believe we had them 4 times in 10 years. Got diseases bad enough now that we can't/shouldn't grow peas on that field again.
