Not much experience with alley scales.
Gota have them standing on scales & not sitting on backstop.
I like to be able to look up , see weight of one i am working to set dosage.
If alley scales In chute, if they were shorter than chute, crutter might have a foot off the scales. Still would need to be easy to clean under.
