I agree with you "too much" has nothing to do with the price of corn but how well a person can pay it off, whatever the source of income is. I "paid too much" for the 80 acres that bought when I was 22 years old. 8 years later it is worth about double, and all the neighbors now say what a deal I got on it. But it was no deal at the time which is why i was the highest bidder. Only 20/20 hindsight can tell whether it was the right move.
