Guessing this wind will cause the state average yield to easily lower 3 bushels per acre for Nebraska. Would not be surprised if it is not 8-10 lower in the end. Lots of acres to be harvested, and many disastrous fields. Sad week in Nebraska...
Thing of it is, there may have been enough extra bushels out there to start with. The USDA may have been low, the wind might just be lowering us back down to where they're at.
