Thanks guys. I am watching the live cattle market and trying to make sense of it. Maize's "basis follows the spreads" seemed to not apply. Well yesterday afternoon the cash exploded which I assume will cause the nearby spread to narrow considerably come Monday morn. Kind of seems backwards. But I've never been able to make a lot of sense in the cattle anyways.
