Southwest MN | Spend some time with a string line before you pour to make sure you won't have water standing in the middle. Used to use a groover/finisher float that was 3' wide and had 1" angle iron welded in for cleats 8" apart. Then finished afterward with a tine to roughen a little more. Seemed to work good. If the crete was set to much we would take the smallest guy on the crew and make him ride the float being pulled back. | |
