Florida panhandle | I built one last year out of a skidder tire, (I do not recommended them) they have steel belts in the side wall. after getting it cut I used a sheet of marine grade ply wood to cover hole , Im in roofing business so I have access to all kinds of caulks but used a butyl caulk to attach it from bottom with roofing screws , Then I filled the hole on inside with a pourable sealer. I planed on it being portable and did not want anything thru the bottom so I notched one side on top to accept a float valve and use a old piece of hog panel to shield it. Its heavy but I just stick my forks under the lip and pick it up if I need to move it after I siphon water out . | |
