Subject: 1st time pouring concrete questions

We need to pour a pad about 20x30 behind our barn to keep some cows out of the mud this winter. Planning on doing the work ourselves but had a couple questions as this will be our first ever pour by ourselves.

Going to use 2x6s to form up the pad to be about 5" thick. Using 1/2" rebar @ 15" spacing. My math says the total pour will be just shy of 10 yards.

My plan is to break the project up into 2 pours of 10x30 each. Not worried about it ending up perfect it will only have some cows on it a couple months of the year, someday it could be where we make some sorting pens and move the chute.

I'm going to screed it off with a 2x4, then bull float it and put a broom finish on. Any tips or tricks I should be aware of? I've helped pour a couple times before but I was always the manual labor moving concrete not doing any finish work.

What kind of mix do I need to get from the concrete plant?
