You can find wild cattle in any breed. We have friends that raise and show Belted Galloways. Their steers go for freezer beef as no one at the sale barn wants them. The issue is the Holsteins need a different diet vs color cattle. If you feed the Holsteins right, the quality of your colored calves will suffer and visa versa.
