Farm in WC Iowa | I’m on the side of the fence that doesn’t think corn for ethanol is the best thing since sliced bread. I’m fairly green as a producer myself, but I saw the run up in corn. What I gather is corn for etholnol ruined a lot of the price structure out there.
We over produced by expanding acres.
Drove up crp payments, land rent, input costs across the board and equipment prices. what do we have to show for it?
$3.00 corn.

But then again i think backwards and Am more of a proponent for non fossil fuel vehicles.
