Central Texas | Have done the hot wire thing for several years and it did work. It required some daily work with pitch fork. Otherwise as moved hot wire into pile the reject pile just got deeper and deeper like they are building a ramp to the top.
Never thought about the poultry litter but that might work. As I understand it the litter needs to be piled up and go thru a heating process to kill bad bacteria or something. Not sure the wife would approve a pile of litter 100 yards from house. | |
