south west iowa | We have a black 5 year old cow that has been getting thin. About a week & 1/2 ago we weaned the calves off. Got the building back up again so calves in 1 pen and cows in 3 pens and out side lot. After we took her calf away she just went all to hell. Sunday we put her in a pen by her self and put her in the chute and took temp it was ok, gave her a good worming with Ivomec Injectable & a shot of Vitamin B Complex & Draxxin and gave her a High Strength Cow Magnet. She has stopped eating and drinking for the most part. Had the vet out yesterday he said we had done what he would have done. We sent in a poop sample to test for johnes but the poop don't look like she has that. And we gave her a energy drench with 2 packets and 5 gal. of water. We just gave her the same drench again tonight with about 6 gal of water. She is weak and not eating. What is woody Tung act like? Any help you can give would be very much thank full. | |
