Driftless SW Wisconsin | I guess that's part of the experiment. They do not go back over the grazed areas. It has been very wet here lately. Combines are not moving and way behind. My plan is to close off this strip after they're done.
As you can see in one of the pics, the radishes have so much growth underground that the cows are breaking them off at ground level rather than pulling the whole bulb up as they can do with the turnips.
I'm thinking there is enough radish left in the ground to give me a good aerated base for the rye to come back and a good grazing corn stand after the rye. We'll see.
