Cattle aren't physically getting delivered....they're being re tendered for a fee. the cattle haven't seen any trucks, and are still coming up to the bunks just fine. nobody has demanded them so, therefore re-tender and staying in the lot.

Please explain to this thick skull why someone would want to deliver on futures? Cash and futures have converged. What is the play? Are the longs not letting the shorts out gracefully? If that's the case then it would seem to me that the physical IS being "demanded". Thanks.
