Neighbor does custom baling and gets a new baler every few years and it usually costs him about $2.75 per bale made to trade up. If he is providing everything but the baler 44 per bale should more then cover the depreciation / wear on your baler and still leave him room to save a little money over custom charges. In my area you can get all the stalks you want custom baled for $11 per bale.
