From what I hear I should be able to make as much as a farm hand. Probably from people who do not hire. My question was not answered. What is the pay and what is the job? I would do what I do now for less pay and benefits. I do it because I love the work. What is a class A CDL, good with technology, Iowa State Agronomy degree, likes to wrench, and isn't afraid of long hours or hard work guy worth?

Anyone with a class A CDL can make $20/ hr easily in my area.
I don't focus on what I'm worth on someone else's pay scale, instead I focus on how much I'm worth to my operation. My dad once told me "you'll never get rich working for someone else". Shortly after hearing that I quit my job I took out of college and ventured out on my own. That was 13 years ago and I haven't looked back.
