Subject: RE: Short term & foucused....

central - east central Minnesota -

1234 - 10/20/2017 06:59 Obviously, not many people have had success picking the top of the market and I certainly don't know how much higher or how much longer this market can run. My question was a little more short term and focused on the effect on investors just waiting for tax reform. There are tax considerations like capital gains, etc whenever you sell stocks that are important considerations. My question is have investors been delaying those transactions hoping for a better tax deal and what effect has that had on keeping the market on its current trajectory?

I wouldn't think that way - they simply have so much money to work with, they just can't find enough places to put it . . . .

See post below about possible tax changes to 401k / 403b accounts . . . . that will affect the stock market, in a negative way.
