Sorry, I did not mean for my post to be pointed at you. I just like the statement that you wrote about insurance taking away the risk so I quoted it. From there I was using examples on why the fringe is here to stay. In fact, I would guess most people in the belt would consider you in the fringe. I always appreciate what you have to say IALTO. You are good poster and bring up excellent points.

Sometimes it hard to post something that's a compliment online, because when you read it you might think you are getting bashed. My bad.

I find these fringe acre discussions to be interesting. We in the fringe have not been set in our ways as long as our counterparts in the belt have, which I feel is a good thing. The longer you do something the hard it is to change. 10 years ago I said I would not plant an acre of corn if I don't have to, now I really only plant hay crops and corn...
