northeastern Ohio | Local elevators were charging 5 cents to dump and 3 cents per month last year. This year they are charging 18 cents to dump and 5 cents per month this year. So last year 6 months storage would have cost you 23 cents. This year it's 48 cents. But that is here in Ohio and you never have to touch the grain again after you dump it (DP).
My opinion: I would think that your deal would be worth about 10 cents per bushel for the six months. | |
