NW KS/ SC ID | PJ has better designs, Load Trail has better welds.
I have never been impressed with any welds on our PJs, and we have 5 of them kicking around the place. Judging by the factory locations, I am thinking Load trail must pay a buck or two more per hour for good welders. :)
If they didnt mind **** welds they should have let me come weld it so the price would be discounted some...
That said, I think the only options I am going to consider on the next trailer is a PJ or a Big Tex, since Load Trail does not offer the lo-pro pierced i-beam on the single tire goosenecks, and I will likely stick with PJ since they offer so many options.
I saw the other day a Load Trail 16K Single 17.5 tire gooseneck with air ride with a lift option on one of the axles, and it looked pretty slick, welds were nice, etc. but it sat pretty tall.
