Hello Andy, There should be about 16 or so Fleck/Hereford cross calves next spring starting in April.  I'll know more after preg check later this month.  I have no interest in selling any calves either the Fleck cross or my straight Herefords. What I need to do is to start culling my oldest, largest cows after I hit 50 cows. They are heavy so should bring in some cash even at low cow prices.

I'm still concerned about the Fleck cross calves. The breeder where I bought my Fleck bull told me several times: "he is NOT a heifer bull". So D092 is on my older cow group pictured.  I am not used to any calving problems at all and don't want to start to see any.  I do think Fleck/Hereford cross heifers will go well with my EFBeef C627 bull. His calves about fall out of the back of cows and heifers.

My intent though is that the cross calves are all terminal, steers and heifers, to get the max heterosis. But we'll see how it goes. I don't want to replace my huge older Hereford cows with huge Fleck cross cows...
