Shelbina, MO | Don, I wish I had the answer, but I don't. Dekalb has some great non-RR corn numbers, but all Monsanto reps want to talk about is RR-2 corn. I'm afraid that if they don't back off some its going to push people the other way. I just have it in my head that they know the "Round-up ride" is slowly coming to a halt, and they want to make one "big, last push". The last 2 seed meetings I went too, all they would talk about was RR2 corn and stacked traits. If I can't get the non-RR BT numbers I want, I guess I will plant someone else's corn. The last time our Monsanto seed rep. was in, I told him that if he bought and paid for 10 oz. of select for my beans the next year, I MIGHT consider RR corn. He did not take me up on that!
