Boone, Iowa | I figured all combines out your way would come from the dealer with field tracker. We put one on a 2188 several years ago. It was straightforward and the price was around $5500, if I recall correctly. I think the field tracker with a 30 ft head worked better than a 25 ft without field tracker, but I'm on flatter ground. I was never impressed with the stiffness of a 1020 head and I don't know if a 3020 flexes any better. I have been happy with my Harvestmore head on my 2388. A full-finger auger turned my head into a poor man's draper head. | |
