Dawn, Missouri
With corn harvested at 17% - 9 points behind average and soybeans at 22% harvested most of this big crop is still in the field. Most of the later crops are in MN, ND, SD, IA. The corn maturity is way behind and we have rain and cold weather forecast for the next few days into the weekend and the first part of next week in those areas. Probably wrong and prices may drift lower but the timing for soybeans is for a low. Oct. 4 - 10th through the years has been good timing for a low not a high. A friday close above $9.54 in Nov. SB would look like we have a chance to me. Good luck!
