Subject: RE: Featherfarmer question

Upper Midwest
I have a farm of considerable size and some what diversified to manage along with enjoying this board. You will usually find me on here mornings and nights. If you have followed any of my responses in the past, you will know I have never asked for a 100% fallow of your acres. If you rent all your land for $200 +,and own none, then no, you may not want too participate. So be it, but lets say you were to. 25% of 1000 acres is 250, x 200= $50,000. If fallowing 25% raised corn price $1 , your gain on thee other 750 acres would be $150,000. Yes no guarentee but what in farming is? I am sure some on here would like to see cheap corn forever, for one would like to see every farmer make a living.
