What feather doesn't understand is that farmers will always (and should) plant when proceeds are expected to cover variable costs. Seed, Fert, chem, fuel, crop insurance, int, etc. What is that? It's $350 an Acre for me. I would be willing to bet almost every farmer in the country expects to at least cover the variable costs. If not, buy the board like feather says.
