What your failing to comprehend is that it doesn't matter if your final yield is 130,150, 180, 200, 250, 300, it boils down to each individuals break even on their farm. We are the the tail end of the "fringe" acres and I can still make money on corn. So why would we plant less of it? To prove my point, our corn acres are up 150%, our bean acres are up 100%. Winter wheat planted this fall.......ZERO. ZIP, ZILCH, NADA.

The days of the I states announcing that we can only plant wheat out here are over. Some people haven't come to that realization yet.
