Subject: RE: What moisture to crib ear corn?

southern MN
Our wooded crib, double with a 12 foot alley/shed space between, holds about 4000 bu. The top is flat, and could spoil pretty easy as quite a few feet of corn is piled on a flat floor up there, need to be shoveled off and fed before winter was over. Dad put in a flat belt on pulleys along the peak, fed corn into one end onto the belt and the corn would travel to the far end, or wherever you placed a knockoff, never had to move the elevator just 10 minutes to move the knockoff.
