We run a 4408 on a 7240. No comparison between the 4400 & 3400 series as the 4400 does a much better job & doesn't run near the trash in the machine as the 3400 series.
We also have a Geringhoff 12-30 folding head on our Lexion 740. Very satisfied with this head. I think you'd be pleased with either head. Is their a Geringhoff dealer close for parts?
