From what I have seen and heard of the For-Most chutes, I think it would be an excellent candidate to add hydraulics to, and I agree, I think it would be a piece of cake. I will be starting from scratch. My squeeze chute is very lightly built and has lots of things I don't like. It works OK for Holsteins, but black cows tear it up. I also want to be able to incorporate different features from different chutes that I like. Below are pictures of my chute. You can see that it's not worth doing much to. The lever at the front of the chute with the frayed white rope is around my height. I'm 6'4". You can see from the head-on shot of the head catch how one of my big black cows bent it when she thought she could go through it at a dead run.
