You could fit a monster cow through an S04. I use my S01 with my biggest cows and 1500# bull. It's light duty compared to the best chutes. But good enough here.

My cows don't really hit the head gate hard enough for the auto to work. But that is not related to the quality of product. Just laid back cattle.


The Hi Hog seems heavy duty enough. Kinda wondering now if buying an entire chute would be the answer, or if sticking to my original thought of mounting that head gate on the Hi Hog..... Like I said, I do like how that head gate works. When you have to manually run a swinging automatic head gate 'cause your cows won't go in it, you gotta have your hand on the handle, which the cow sees, then that makes her not want to go..... The Priefert's head gate handle seems nice and out of the way of the path the cow needs to go. I should just sell all my quiet old cows and buy crazy heifers, that would solve everything lol.
