So let's get this straight......this guy pulls an over height load and probably multiple other offenses (insecure load, over width, over weight, lights not working, and many other numerous ideas they can find).....and your son thinks the state police needs to be dissolved???
Sorry, I don't see an issue with what the state police did. The guy screwed up and put the motoring public in danger with his load. He NEEDS to learn, charges/fines are about the only way the public pays attention.
Other than DaleD2 it seems you Canucks feel a need for big government. If the OP's buddy didn't damage the overpass or hurt anyone no need for tickets and fines. All they needed to do was direct traffic to maintain a safe area. I'm sure the hassle, mess, and embrassment thought him enough of a lesson. |
